Like crap through a goose this cuts wood.
I got this to do a couple of hardwood projects. This rips and cross cuts through kiln dried maple and walnut like butter, leaving a very fine smooth cut. The kerf is thin and I love it!
This blade was a night and day difference on the intended purpose of buying the tool for. Was about to give up, but after dropping this bad boy in, WOW. Used for cutting the bull noses on stairs, when replacing carpet with wood treads.
Replacing the crappy blade that comes with almost any saw should be your first step. I'll bet that this blade on a $25 saw works better than the stock blade on a $300 saw. Few things are more dangerous than a bad blade for a power saw. Treat your saw to a great blade. It will not cut off your arm in return.
For the price this blade is inexpensive enough to throw away but is good for thousands of cuts unless abused. I usually buy several at a time and very highly recommend it. Try at least one. You won't be sorry.
